Make sure it’s legit: Reputable sites always include a closed padlock on your browser’s address bar or a URL address that begins with :shttp or :https. This indicates purchases are encrypted & secure.
Keep a paper trail: Save records of your transactions, including the product description, price, receipt, terms of the sale, and copies of email exchanges with the seller.
